 Also called "classic massage", Swedish massage is  the most commonly recognized and widely practiced type of massage therapy. A variety of techniques are used in Swedish massage including circular  pressure applied by the hands and palms, firm kneading, light tapping,  and more.                     

 Deep Tissue massage uses firm pressure and slow strokes to  reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue  surrounding muscles).  This massage modality is used for chronic aches and pain and locked areas such as a  stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore  shoulders.  

Trigger Point therapy treats adhesions in the fascia which cause pain and inhibit proper function of muscle groups.  Trigger Point massage uses deep, focused strokes on problem areas, along with long, deep strokes to reset the muscle.

  Sports Massage is either a full-body massage or a part-specific focused treatment, used to address repetitive injuries or muscles prone to injury. This modality uses deep pressure, range-of-motion, and stretching techniques to address your specific functional needs.
